Al Anam

HR Background

English translation of Kanz-ul-Irfan

And it is Allah alone (worthy of worship) within the heavens and the earth.[1] He knows of every concealed matter of yours and every apparent affair, and He knows all that you do.

Commentary

[1]

This verse does not mean that Allah Almighty resides in the heavens or on earth. Rather, it means that He—the Ultimate Master—is worshipped everywhere, and His Kingdom encompasses everything.
