And there is no beast upon the earth and no bird that flies with its wings except that they are nations like you.[1] And We have not left anything out of this Book.[2] Then, they shall be raised to their Lord.

This similarity is only in some respects as some exegetes have stated that
animals also know about Allah Almighty and believe in Him as the one true God.
They glorify and worship in their own way. Some have said that they are similar
in terms of also being creation. Others have stated that they are similar to
humans because they communicate with each other and show compassion to one
another. Some have said that animals are similar to humans in seeking
sustenance, avoiding danger and recognising gender. Others have stated that
they are similar due to acknowledging birth, death, and resurrection, as
animals will also pass through these stages.

Here, “Book” refers to the Quran or the Preserved Tablet (Al-Lawḥ Al-Maḥfūẓ). The verse means that all
knowledge and “مَا کَانَ وَ مَا یَکُوْنُ” (that which has occurred and that which
will occur) is mentioned therein. This proves the complete knowledge of the
beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم as all knowledge is within the Quran or
the Preserved Tablet and both are a part of his knowledge.
