Al Anam

HR Background

English translation of Kanz-ul-Irfan

And We only send Messengers as bearers of glad tidings and warners. So those who believe and reform themselves, they will neither have fear nor will they grieve.[1]

Commentary

[1]

Both faith and righteous deeds are essential for salvation in the Hereafter. Those who think that they do not need good deeds after embracing faith, and those who consider righteous deeds alone without faith to be sufficient for salvation, are both foolish. Nonetheless, of the two scenarios, the one who has embraced faith is certainly better than the faithless individual.
