اَیَوَدُّ اَحَدُكُمْ اَنْ تَكُوْنَ لَهٗ جَنَّةٌ مِّنْ نَّخِیْلٍ وَّ اَعْنَابٍ تَجْرِیْ مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْاَنْهٰرُۙ-لَهٗ فِیْهَا مِنْ كُلِّ الثَّمَرٰتِۙ- وَ اَصَابَهُ الْكِبَرُ وَ لَهٗ ذُرِّیَّةٌ ضُعَفَآءُﳚ -فَاَصَابَهَاۤ اِعْصَارٌ فِیْهِ نَارٌ فَاحْتَرَقَتْؕ-كَذٰلِكَ یُبَیِّنُ اللّٰهُ لَكُمُ الْاٰیٰتِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَفَكَّرُوْنَ(266)

English translation of Kanz-ul-Irfan

Would any of you like ˹this˺ that he has a garden of date-palms and grapevines beneath which rivers flow; for him there are all kinds of fruit therein; and old age reaches him and he has weak children, then it is struck by a tornado containing fire so the whole garden is burnt. Thus, Allah clearly states His verses to you that you may reflect.[1]

What a powerful example; if only we understand and save our deeds, prayer, dhikr, Quran recitation, prophetic praise, Hajj, Umrah, and charity from the destruction of ostentation through self-accountability.
