قَالَ اِنَّهٗ یَقُوْلُ اِنَّهَا بَقَرَةٌ لَّا ذَلُوْلٌ تُثِیْرُ الْاَرْضَ وَ لَا تَسْقِی الْحَرْثَۚ-مُسَلَّمَةٌ لَّا شِیَةَ فِیْهَاؕ-قَالُوا الْــٴٰـنَ جِئْتَ بِالْحَقِّؕ-فَذَبَحُوْهَا وَ مَا كَادُوْا یَفْعَلُوْنَ(71)

English translation of Kanz-ul-Irfan

˹Musā said˺: “Allah says it is a cow that is neither used to plough the land nor used to irrigate crops, completely faultless, without blemish.” They replied, “Now you have[1] brought the clear truth.” They then sacrificed the cow, although they were not near to doing ˹it˺.

Commentary

This is a reminder that needless questioning in matters of the religion only creates problems.
