Al Imran

HR Background

English translation of Kanz-ul-Irfan

Every soul will taste death,[1] and on the Day of Judgement, you will be given your full recompenses. So whomsoever was saved from the Fire and admitted to Paradise, indeed he succeeded; and the life of this world is merely a provision of deception.

Commentary

[1]

This verse expresses that Allah Almighty has appointed death for all living things; nothing can escape death. Death is the separation of the soul from the body. Sometimes this separation can be excruciating. It is wise to remember death often and to prepare for the Hereafter while living in this world.
