English translation of Kanz-ul-Irfan

Invoke ˹Allah˺ in this way, “O Allah, Master of the kingdom![1] You grant the kingdom to whomsoever You will; You seize the kingdom from whomsoever You will; You exalt whomsoever You will; and You humiliate whomsoever You will—all goodness is in Your power; verily, You have power over everything.

Commentary

[1]

Kingdom and kingship, in fact, every atom of the world, are the domain of Allah Almighty; He may grant it to whomsoever He wills. How many great kingdoms, the fall of which was unimaginable to those people, have disappeared due to the Power of Allah Almighty: Alexander the Great of Macedonia, Namrūd of Iraq, Anushirvan, Khosrow of Iran, the Pharaohs of Egypt, and Genghis and Hulagu Khan of Mongolia. Great kings of the past are now remembered in stories but the name of the true Lord of the Worlds and His domain remain perpetually—after all, He Almighty is Eternal.
