English translation of Kanz-ul-Irfan

So her Lord accepted her with complete acceptance, and made her grow in good health, and appointed Zakariyyā as her guardian. Whenever Zakariyyā visited her at the chamber of prayer, he discovered fruit in her possession. He asked, “Dear Maryam, how does this come to you?” She replied, “This is from Allah. Indeed, Allah provides immeasurable sustenance to whomsoever He wills.”[1]

Commentary

[1]

When Prophet Zakariyyā would enter the prayer chamber of Maryam, he would find non-seasonal fruit there. When he enquired about the fruit, he was told by the noble Maryam that it was from Allah Almighty. This clearly expresses how Allah Almighty grants saintly miracles (karāmāt) to His righteous servants and causes extraordinary events to occur through them.
