The place where the mercy of Allah Almighty has descended should be a site of supplication; the place where Sayyidatuna Maryam رَضِیَ الـلّٰـهُ عَنْهَا was granted sustenance from the unseen was the area where Prophet Zakariyyā عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام supplicated. The same concept applies to supplicating near the Ka‘bah, the blessed Prophetic and Saintly shrines, and other sacred sites as the mercy of Allah descends upon these places.
