Al Imran

HR Background

اِنَّ اللّٰهَ رَبِّیْ وَ رَبُّكُمْ فَاعْبُدُوْهُؕ-هٰذَا صِرَاطٌ مُّسْتَقِیْمٌ(51)

Indeed, Allah is my Lord and your Lord so worship Him; this is the straight path.”

Commentary

[1]

This declaration of Prophet ʿĪsā عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام was to emphasise that (despite his miracles), he is the creation of Allah and to negate any divinity ascribed to him by some Christians after his time. These revelations clarify how believing in the miracles of prophets and saints does not incur polytheism and does not necessitate Divinity for them, rather, those who falsely accuse Muslims of polytheism should learn from the aforementioned verses.
