اٰلِ عِمْرَان

Al Imran

HR Background

English translation of Kanz-ul-Irfan

Indeed, the example of ʿĪsā with Allah is like that of Ādam; He (Allah) created him (Ādam) from soil,[1] then said to him “Be!” thus he became alive.

Commentary

[1]

Just as Prophet Ādam عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام was born without a droplet (spermatozoon), the same applies to Prophet ʿĪsā عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام. So if Prophet Ādam عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام was not the son of God, how can Prophet ʿĪsā عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام be the son of God? Prophet ʿĪsā عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام was born without a father.
