English translation of Kanz-ul-Irfan

˹Furthermore, they said,˺ “Only trust the one who follows your religion.”[1] ˹Dear Beloved Prophet,˺ say, “The guidance of Allah is the only guidance,” (the conspirers also say do not believe this) “…that another may be granted what you were endowed with or ˹that˺ anyone may prevail over you before Allah.” ˹Dear Beloved Prophet,˺ say, “Grace is indeed only in the Hand (power) of Allah;[2] He confers it to whomsoever He wills[3]—and Allah is Most-Bestowing, All-Knowing.”

Commentary

[1]

One must remain aware of the fact that plotting from the disbelievers shall not end; even today, Islamophobia is propagated through biased films, false reporting, and fabrications. Disbelievers are using media to fuel prejudice against Islam.

[2]

The Arabic word “yad” literally means “hand”. Here, it is interpreted as “Power” and “Ownership”.

[3]

Prophethood is not attained through deeds; it is the Grace of Allah Almighty.
