English translation of Kanz-ul-Irfan

And whosoever will desire a religion other than Islam, then that will never be accepted from him; and he will be among the losers in the Hereafter.[1]

Commentary

[1]

Allah Almighty has clearly stated in the Quran that the preferred, accepted religion in His Court is only Islam; no other religion, in its current form, is deemed acceptable in the Divine Court. One may adopt the good character traits expressed by a religion, but if he does not fully embrace Islam as his creed, none of his deeds shall be accepted in the Court of Allah Almighty.  Now, Islam refers to the faith brought by the Final Prophet Al-Muṣṭafā صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم (it also has a linguistics sense of “complete submission to the Will of Allah Almighty”).
