اَلصّٰٓفّٰت
As Saffat
فَاَرَادُوْا بِهٖ كَیْدًا فَجَعَلْنٰهُمُ الْاَسْفَلِیْنَ(98)
So they wanted to deceive him, [1] so We made them the lowest.
Commentary
[1]
“Deception” here refers to the disbelievers’ intention to cast Prophet Ibrāhīm عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام into the fire.
