Every soul will then become aware of what it has brought (of good or evil).
Every soul will come to know what it has presented.
So, by the oath of those (stars) that retreat.
So by the retreating stars
(Stars which) move straight, (then) stop moving.
that travel straight, disappear.
And of the night when it departs.
And by the night when it departs.
And of the morning when it breathes.
And by the morning when it breathes.
This (i.e. the Qur'aan) is indeed the recitation of an honoured Messenger (i.e. the angel Jibra'eel).
Indeed this is the speech of a noble messenger,
The one who is powerful, honoured in the Majestic Court of the Owner of the Throne.
powerful, esteemed before the Master of the Throne,
The one who is obeyed there (i.e. in the heavens by other angels), he is trustworthy.
there he is obeyed, trustworthy.
And your companion (i.e. the Beloved Prophet) is not insane.
Your companion is not insane.
And indeed, he (i.e. the Beloved Prophet) saw him (i.e. the angel Jibraeel, in his original form) on the edge of the clear horizon (towards the East).
He certainly saw him on the clear horizon.
And this Prophet is not miserly in revealing (the knowledge of) the unseen.
And he (this Prophet) is not miserly in relating the unseen.
And the Qur'aan is not the recitation of Satan, the banished one.
And it is not the recitation of Satan, the accursed.
Then, where are you going to (whilst leaving the Qur'aan)?
So where do you go?
Only that (i.e. the Qur'aan) is guidance to all the worlds.
It is but advice for all the worlds.
For the one amongst you who desires to become upright.
For the one among you who wants to become upright.
And (in reality) what can you desire, unless it is willed by Allah; the Lord of all the worlds.
And you cannot want anything unless Allah , Lord of all the worlds, wills it.
