وَ لَا تُصَعِّرْ خَدَّكَ لِلنَّاسِ وَ لَا تَمْشِ فِی الْاَرْضِ مَرَحًاؕ-اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا یُحِبُّ كُلَّ مُخْتَالٍ فَخُوْرٍ(18)
And do not turn your cheek away when you talk to people, and do not walk upon the earth with vanity. Allah does not like every conceited, arrogant individual. [1]
Commentary

No person, whether he is wealthy or poor, should be considered as inferior; rather one should meet everyone with kindness and speak to them with courtesy. Considering the poor as inferior and thus turning away from them and speaking to them in a condescending manner; similarly, looking at wealthy people with disdain, are all signs of arrogance. Everyone should avoid this.
