Allah's Name to commence with, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
In the name of Allah, the Infinitely Gracious, the Most Merciful.
O Conveyor of the unseen news (i.e. Prophet)! keep fearing Allah, and do not listen to the disbelievers and the hypocrites. Indeed, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.
O Prophet! Remain mindful of Allah and do not pay heed to the disbelievers and hypocrites. Indeed Allah is All-Knowing, Most-Wise.
And keep following what is revealed to you from your Lord, O people! Allah is observing your deeds.
And keep following that which is revealed to you from your Lord. ˹O people!˺ Indeed Allah is aware of your deeds.
And O Beloved, place your trust in Allah; and Allah is sufficient as the Disposer of matters.
And place your trust in Allah; and Allah suffices as a Facilitator of affairs.
Allah has not kept two hearts inside of any man. Nor has He made those wives of yours, whom you proclaim to be equal to your mothers, as your (real) mothers. Nor has He made your adopted sons as your real sons; this is (merely) an utterance of your mouth. And Allah proclaims the truth and it is He Who shows the (straight) path.
Allah has not made two hearts for a man in his chest; and He has not made your wives whom you refer to with maternal resemblance your mothers. And He has not made your adopted sons your real sons; this is the statement of your mouths —Allah declares the truth and He guides to the path.
Call them (i.e. adopted children) with their (biological) father's names; this is more justified according to Allah; then if you do not know their fathers, so they are your brothers in faith, and your cousins in being humans. And there is no sin upon you for what you did unknowingly (in the past); yes, that is a sin which you commit with the intention of the heart. And Allah is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful.
Call them by ˹the names of˺ their ˹biological˺ fathers; this is more just in the Court of Allah. So if you do not know their fathers, then they are your brothers in religion and your friends; and there is no sin upon you regarding the mistake you made without knowing, however, there is sin in that which your hearts intended. And Allah is Most-Forgiving, Most-Merciful.
