Al Anam

HR Background

English translation of Kanz-ul-Irfan

And it is He who takes your souls by night and knows whatever you earn by day. Then, He raises you in the day[1] so that the specified duration comes to pass. Then, to Him you will return, and He will relate to you what you used to do.

Commentary

[1]

The verse mentions sleep and awakening, and this acts as evidence regarding the Day of Judgement and Resurrection. The Lord Who has the power to awaken an individual after making him sleep—which is like a temporary death affecting the senses and movement—can undoubtedly resurrect His creation after death.
