فمن خاف من موص جنفا أو إثما فأصلح بينهم فلا إثم عليه ۚ إن الله غفور رحيم

اَلْبَقَرَة

Al Baqarah

فَمَنْ خَافَ مِنْ مُّوْصٍ جَنَفًا اَوْ اِثْمًا فَاَصْلَحَ بَیْنَهُمْ فَلَاۤ اِثْمَ عَلَیْهِؕ-اِنَّ اللّٰهَ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِیْمٌ(182)

English translation of Kanz-ul-Irfan

Whosoever fears bias or sin from the one who makes the will and mediates ˹a settlement˺ between them, there is no sin on him (the mediator).[1] Indeed, Allah is Most-Forgiving, Most-Merciful.

Commentary

[1]

If a scholar, ruler, heir, or relative discovers that the dying individual has transgressed against someone in his will or that he is not abiding by Islamic laws and he (the scholar) persuades him to correct the will, then he is not sinful, rather, he will deserve rewards.
