فَمَنْۢ بَدَّلَهٗ بَعْدَ مَا سَمِعَهٗ فَاِنَّمَاۤ اِثْمُهٗ عَلَى الَّذِیْنَ یُبَدِّلُوْنَهٗؕ-اِنَّ اللّٰهَ سَمِیْعٌ عَلِیْمٌﭤ(181)

English translation of Kanz-ul-Irfan

So whosoever changes the will after hearing it, the sin of that ˹change˺ is only on those who change it.[1] Indeed, Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.

Commentary

[1]

After issuing the will, one still has the right to change it during his lifetime, but after death, the will [of the deceased] cannot be changed by someone else.
