اَلْبَقَرَة
Al Baqarah
وَ قٰتِلُوْهُمْ حَتّٰى لَا تَكُوْنَ فِتْنَةٌ وَّ یَكُوْنَ الدِّیْنُ لِلّٰهِؕ-فَاِنِ انْتَهَوْا فَلَا عُدْوَانَ اِلَّا عَلَى الظّٰلِمِیْنَ(193)
And fight them until there is no discord,[1] and worship becomes for Allah. Then if they desist, only retribution remains for the oppressors.
Commentary
[1]
Here, fitnah (Qurʾanic term) is translated as “discord” and means polytheism.
