English translation of Kanz-ul-Irfan

Wherever they reside, humiliation has been placed upon them unless they attain support from Allah or aid from the people.[1] They returned in the wrath of Allah and they have been afflicted with destitution. This is because they were denying the verses of Allah and they were martyring Prophets unjustly; and due to the fact that they disobeyed and used to transgress.

Commentary

[1]

The Jews have been afflicted with humiliation and need. However, they can save themselves in two ways, viz; attaining support from Allah Almighty in such a way that they become Muslims or entering an agreement with people or the Muslim state, or they beg for aid from kingdoms belonging to disbelievers and attain their support. The Jewish state existing today is evidence of the truthfulness of the Qurʾan as it exists due to the support of foreign governments.
