English translation of Kanz-ul-Irfan

Indeed, those who reject the verses of Allah and kill prophets unjustly and kill those who command justice among people; give them glad tidings of painful punishment.[1]

Commentary

[1]

The three crimes of the Israelites are listed in this verse, viz; denying the verses of Allah; killing prophets; and killing those who commanded justice. Furthermore, the reason why the Jews of the Prophetic era are censured is because they were content with the evil deeds of their forefathers.
