Allah's Name to commence with, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
In the name of Allah, the Infinitely Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Destruction is for those who weigh short.
Woe to the defrauders;
(They are) those who, when they acquire from others, take full measurement.
those who when taking measure from people seek it in full.
And when they give others by measuring or weighing, they give less.
And when they measure for them or weigh for them, they lessen.
Do those people perceive not that they will be raised (after death)?
Do these people not have certainty that they will be brought back to life?
For a Day of greatness.
For a momentous Day.
The Day when all the people will stand in the Majestic Court of the Lord of all the worlds.
The Day all people will stand before the Lord of the worlds.
Indeed, the record of the disbelievers is in the lowest place; Sijjeen.
Truly, indeed the record of evildoers is in Sijjīn.
And what do you know how (despicable) Sijjeen is?
And what do you know of Sijjīn?
That record is a sealed text.
It is a sealed record.
Destruction is for the beliers on that Day.
Woe to the deniers on that Day.
Those who deny the Day of justice.
Those who deny the Day of Justice.
And no one will deny it except every transgressor, sinner.
And none deny it except every transgressing, extreme sinner.
When Our verses are recited to him, he says, '(These) are stories of the people of the past.'
When Our verses are recited to him, he says, “Tales of previous communities.”
