Prophet Ibrāhīm عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام had already sacrificed his wealth and had left his country, and now he also presented his son to be sacrificed upon the command of Allah Almighty. Furthermore, it was the very same son that was granted to him in his final years after much supplication; this son, who he brought up himself, was the joy of the house and the comfort of his eyes. Indeed, this was a significant trial.
