ذٰلِكَ بِاَنَّ اللّٰهَ هُوَ الْحَقُّ وَ اَنَّ مَا یَدْعُوْنَ مِنْ دُوْنِهِ الْبَاطِلُۙ-وَ اَنَّ اللّٰهَ هُوَ الْعَلِیُّ الْكَبِیْرُ(30)
This is because Allah is the Truth while what they worship other than Him is false, [1] and because Allah is the Most-High, the Most-Great.
Commentary

In the Arabic language, ‘مَا’ is used for things which do not have an intellect. So the meaning of the verse is that the stones, trees, and inanimate objects that people worship are objects of falsehood. Therefore, even though some disbelievers worship the Noble Prophets عَـلَـيْهِمُ السَّلَام which is of course falsehood, those righteous individuals cannot be described with that term, as they are absolutely truthful.
