وَ كَمْ اَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُمْ مِّنْ قَرْنٍ هُمْ اَشَدُّ مِنْهُمْ بَطْشًا فَنَقَّبُوْا فِی الْبِلَادِؕ-هَلْ مِنْ مَّحِیْصٍ(36)
And how many nations have We destroyed before them who were more powerful than them, so they searched in the cities; ˹crying out˺, “Is there a place of escape?”
