قَدْ نَرٰى تَقَلُّبَ وَجْهِكَ فِی السَّمَآءِۚ-فَلَنُوَلِّیَنَّكَ قِبْلَةً تَرْضٰىهَا۪-فَوَلِّ وَجْهَكَ شَطْرَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِؕ-وَ حَیْثُ مَا كُنْتُمْ فَوَلُّوْا وُجُوْهَكُمْ شَطْرَهٗؕ-وَ اِنَّ الَّذِیْنَ اُوْتُوا الْكِتٰبَ لَیَعْلَمُوْنَ اَنَّهُ الْحَقُّ مِنْ رَّبِّهِمْؕ-وَ مَا اللّٰهُ بِغَافِلٍ عَمَّا یَعْمَلُوْنَ(144)

English translation of Kanz-ul-Irfan

We see the frequent raising of your face towards the heavens; so most certainly We shall turn you towards the Qiblah that you are pleased with;[1] so now turn your face towards the Sacred House (Al-Masjid Al-Ḥarām). ˹O Muslims,˺ wherever you are, turn your faces in its direction. Verily, those who have been given the Book, they certainly know that this change is the truth from their Lord[2]—and Allah is not unaware of their deeds.

Commentary

Allah Almighty favours the happiness of His Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم and fulfils his wishes.

[2]

The People of the Book knew that the change of Qiblah is from Allah Almighty as this very account was described in their scriptures and prophesised by their prophets.
