Allah's Name to commence with, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
In the name of Allah, the Infinitely Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Indeed, there has passed such a time upon man that his name did not even exist anywhere.
A time elapsed upon man when he was not something worthy of mention.
Indeed, We have created man from a drop of mixed-sperm (of man and woman) in order to test him, We henceforth made him hearing, seeing.
We have created man from a mixed ˹seminal˺ fluid that We may test him, so We granted him hearing and sight.
We have indeed shown him the (right) path; whether (by believing) he be grateful or (by disbelieving) be ungrateful.
We have shown him the way, he is either grateful or ungrateful.
We have indeed kept prepared chains, and shackles and a Blazing Fire for the disbelievers.
We have prepared chains, and iron collars, and a Blazing Fire for the disbelievers.
