Allah's Name to commence with, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
In the name of Allah, the Infinitely Gracious, the Most Merciful.
When the hypocrites present themselves in your august court (O Beloved), they say; that 'We testify that indeed your respected self are certainly Allah's Messenger.' And Allah knows that you are His Messenger, and Allah testifies that the hypocrites are definitely liars (in that they do not believe in what they say).
When the hypocrites come to you, they say, “We testify that indeed you are the Messenger of Allah.” And Allah knows that you are indeed His Messenger. And Allah bears witness that indeed the hypocrites are liars.
They have made their oaths as a shield (for their hypocrisy and misdeeds), thus prevented (other people) from the path of Allah; indeed, they commit extremely evil deeds.
They made their oaths a shield so they prevented from the way of Allah. Indeed that which they used to do is evil.
This is because that they accepted faith with their tongues then disbelieved with their hearts, so a seal has been set upon their hearts, therefore now they do not understand anything.
This is because they believed ˹with their tongues˺, then they disbelieved ˹with their hearts˺ so their hearts were sealed, so now they do not understand.
And when you see them, their (outward) bodies would please you; and if they speak, so you would listen carefully to their speech, as if they are wooden panels propped up against a wall (unable to stand on their own); they think every shout is against them; they are the (worst) enemies, so beware of them; may Allah slay them, where are they returning to?
And when you see them, their physiques amaze you. And if they speak, you listen attentively to their speech. ˹In reality˺, it is as ifthey are timbers leaning against a wall; they deem every loud voice to be against them. They are the enemies, so be vigilant concerning them. May Allah destroy them, where do they go wandering?
And when it is said to them that 'Come! Allah's Messenger may seek forgiveness for you.' So, they turn their heads sideways and you see them turn their faces away in arrogance.
And when it is said to them, “Come, the Messenger of Allah will seek forgiveness for you”, they turn their heads; and you will see them turning away in arrogance.
It is the same for them, whether you seek or do not seek forgiveness for them; Allah will never forgive them; indeed, Allah does not guide the transgressing people.
It is the same for them whether you seek forgiveness for them or do not seek forgiveness for them. Allah will certainly not forgive them. Indeed Allah does not guide the disobedient.
They are the ones who say, 'Do not spend upon those who are with Allah's Messenger until they become distressed.' And only to Allah belong the treasures of the heavens and the earth, but the hypocrites do not have sense.
It is they who say, “Do not spend on those who are with the Messenger of Allahuntil they disperse.” And to Allah belong the treasures of the heavens and the earth but the hypocrites do not understand.
They say, 'If we return to Madinah, then indeed the honourable one will soon banish the humble one from it.' Whereas, honour (truly) belongs to Allah and to His Messenger and to the Muslims, but the hypocrites know not.
They say, “If we return to Madinah, then the noblest will most definitely expel the most humiliated from it.” Yet, ˹true˺ honour belongs ˹only˺ to Allah, His Messenger, and the Muslims. Albeit, the hypocrites do not know.
